Hilda Hussin

Hilda Hussin is responsible in managing Social, Economic & Policy and works closely with CFF’s research programmes to support and strengthen socioeconomic impacts for identified projects. Some of her work includes: conducting socioeconomics surveys, linking researchers with local farmers and liaising with project stakeholders to ensure mutual objectives between parties are achieved. She has also conducted training to improve farm workers’ agricultural knowledge and polish entrepreneurial skills among the B40 group, which was sponsored by government and private entities.

Prior to joining CFF, Hilda was a Forestry Officer at TSH Resources Berhad, a company which operates in the cultivation, processing and refining of oil palm. She has been an Associate Member of the International Institute Plantation Malaysia (IIPM) and has experience lecturing and supervising Agriculture & Plantation Management students from UiTM, UPM, Asia e University and Centre of Foundation Studies for Agricultural Science (PASP).

Hilda obtained her Master’s Degree in Science (Agribusiness) from Universiti Putra Malaysia, which was funded by the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia. Her research area was in food supply chain management focusing on green logistics.
