Tan Xin Lin’s main role is to develop new products using underutilised crops, food producing techniques that will ensure high quality is maintained during storage as well as conduct sensory evaluation to ensure consumer acceptance. Prior to joining CFF, Xin Lin worked in several establishments such as English Hotbreads Sdn Bhd and The Baker’s Cottage where she was involved in research and development of new product and kitchen recipes. Xin Lin graduated from University of Melbourne, Australia with a BSc in Food Science and has a Certificate (IV) in Hospitality (Patisserie) from William Angliss Institute of TAFE, Melbourne.

    Our research activities are designed, elaborated, managed, implemented, monitored and evaluated in a manner that follows best international practice. Each project is defined in terms of its multidisciplinary requirements. Resource requirements, and their timing, provide the basis of costing each project.
