Much of CFF’s research will use plant materials and germplasm from international centres. CFF researches a wide range of crops requiring both seed and clonal materials, resulting in an increasing need to propagate and grow plant material for experimental purposes. A matrix of characteristics will be developed related to problem statements before new candidate crops are selected.
